A Story is Born

4 Weeks + one-on-one session

About the Course

Everyone has a story to tell, but not everyone finds their voice.

In this four-week course, you'll learn the essential elements of storytelling, from character development to plot structure to pacing. You'll also get the chance to workshop your own story ideas with a group of supportive and encouraging classmates.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced writer, this course will help you to:

  • Find the heart of your story. What is the message you want to convey with your story? What are the themes that are important to you?

  • Build compelling characters. What makes your characters relatable and memorable? How do they grow and change over the course of the story?

  • Create a gripping plot. What are the key turning points in your story? How will you keep your readers on the edge of their seats?

  • Craft a clear and engaging narrative. How will you structure your story so that it flows smoothly and logically?

  • The course will be small and intimate, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to get feedback on your work.

Great storytelling is about capturing the audience's imagination. But first, you have to catch your own as we explore the fundamentals of storytelling.

This is as much an imagination class as it is a writing class.

So what are you waiting for? Enrol today and start telling your story!
